Journalistic standards (not filler rules)

Peptide Labs is an educational journalism desk for the peptide industry’s overlooked layer. We are not a wire service and not a law firm. We are accountable to rigor.

Assignment test

Before publishing, a piece must clear all four:

  1. Non-obvious — would this be new to a careful research buyer, or is it recycled comparison filler?
  2. Documentable — does it rest on artifacts, methods language, or clearly labeled analysis?
  3. Distinctions — does it teach a difference the market blurs?
  4. Clean hands — no dosing, no human-use theater, no evasion tips, no defamation cosplay.

Beats

  • Documents & lot integrity
  • Analytical methods literacy
  • Regulatory category conflict
  • Platform / payments infrastructure risk
  • Institutional defensibility

We refuse

  • “Reta vs Tirz” and sibling popularity contests as default programming
  • Abstract-summary spam with no judgment
  • Fear or miracle framing as growth strategy
  • Anonymous intrigue with no trail

Corrections

If we get a fact wrong, we correct it in public on the piece. Pride includes being wrong visibly and fixing it.
